Working Rallies

Working rallies are the backbone of the Pony Club and form the foundation of training for all our young equestrians. We have a number throughout the year, both flat & jumping, at a number of local venues including Hickstead Showground, Brendon Stud & Albourne Equestrian Centre. We use a wide variety of instructors including (amongst others) Simon Luck, Fi Ashton, Kathy Willard, AB Williams, Sarah Muggeridge, Darren Woods, Debbie Reed & Becky Hill

In addition to the ‘standard’ working rally, we have introduced the hugely popular ½ day and whole day working rallies, which latterly, have incorporated dressage & showjump training in the morning with a small competition in the afternoon in both disciplines.

Please note that it is a requirement that any member wishing to attend XC training, has attended a working rally first.

It is requirement for Area competing and camp attendance that members have attended at least 3 working rallies (Camp counts as 1) since the previous 1 July.
