Petworth Schooling course
Having had such a great time at Petworth last weekend we have decided to put on a special day for those who sadly had to miss out on day camp this year and to encourage all our younger members to come on out and enjoy their riding…we are hoping to repeat this later in the Summer and have a picnic lunch and games for all campers when rules allow for this. Â But first:
Saturday 18th July  –  aimed at 11 years and under (day campers age )
It will be a three hour long session per group comprising of two ridden sessions with jumping,  and flatwork and one stable management session.  There will definitely be something to suit everyone and groups will be arranged to suit ability and age making use of the options available at the venue.
Great for practicing on grass and like camp we will have points per group – and what do points make??
PRIZES!!!
For the much younger members we will adapt to their ability so if they are not up to jumping we can do poles, x poles and go for a walk in the water complex . There will be something for everyone and some rustic small fences for the smallest members!
The ponies will be tied up (socially distanced of course!) along the fence for the stable management session which will be targeted at the group.
We will have morning groups 9.30- 12.30 and afternoon 2-5 too if enough takers express an interest.
Please only the parent/ carer to attend with the member at this time- we will keep you informed as to any changes to our guidelines here. Â If your child needs a lead or help with untacking etc we will have to rely on you to do so but hope you will join in with us this time as we can’t use our usual cohort of older members due to the situation .
Please keep your social distance from each other .
