Pony Racing

    Pony Racing is new to SDHW for 2016, we did our first training session in September with Hayley Moore from Cisswood Race Yard and the members that attended loved it!

    We had a mixture of riders and ponies and this discipline really is for anyone. We shall be attending our first ever pony race at Lingfield in October which is very exciting.

    Pony Racing Criteria:

    You have to be aged 9 or over on the 1st January of the year of competition and under 16 and that your pony must not be more than 148cm and 20 years old.

    To compete at a Pony Club Race Day you must have attended:

    a minimum of 2 (ridden) working rallies as a combination

    and

    a minimum of 1  PRA/PC Training Day,
